Kampong Sambal: A Legacy of Family, Tradition, and the Flavors of Home

Born from a deep passion for cooking rooted in Selabin, Pulau Tekong, Singapore, Sambal Kampong began as a cherished family recipe.

What started in the kitchen has grown into a symbol of togetherness, flavour, and tradition.

In 1999, while our parents were working in Canada, they turned their love for food into a way to share the rich heritage of Malay–Malaysian cuisine.
They introduced the authentic taste of Malay food to the local non-Malay community in Canada through catering and a food truck.

Now available in bottles and sachets, each batch is carefully crafted with authenticity β€” free from additives, preservatives, and chemicals.

The chillies used have undergone a process to remove pesticides and harmful substances.

Every Sambal Kampong carries the true taste of the kampung, inspired by traditional heritage β€” a flavour we hope to share with the world.
